Cancelling a confirmed booking refunds a percentage of what you paid, based on how far in advance of your session you cancel. Rescheduling is a separate allowance, governed by its own rule below — read both sections, since qualifying for one does not depend on the other.
The percentage refunded depends on how long before your session’s start time you cancel:
Refunds are calculated automatically at the moment you cancel, and are returned to the original PayPal payment method. A cancellation that qualifies for a 0% refund still releases your seat — it simply moves no money.
Separately from the refund bands above, every booking may be rescheduled once, free of charge, provided you do so at least 1 day before your session starts. This threshold is independent of the refund bands: whether a booking still qualifies for a refund and whether it still qualifies for a reschedule are two different questions, each measured against its own time limit — a booking that no longer qualifies for any refund can still be eligible to reschedule, as long as it is still outside the reschedule window. Once you have rescheduled a booking once, or once the reschedule window has passed, moving it again is no longer available and the cancellation bands above are what apply if you cancel instead.
